Although we have kept dogs for over thirty years, we did not buy our first wire, Winston, until 2004. He was bought as a pet with no intention of showing.

About five years ago in 2006 we realised that he was too good not to be shown and started showing. At the same time we acquired our first bitch, Tilda.  Martha, a red pinwire bitch, joined us in April 2008 and Bella, one of Tilda's puppies in November 2008. We showed at Open and Championship shows one or two times a month but ill health has now forced us to stop showing.

Our aim is to own healthy, good quality dachshunds and to make the breed better known through providing information. Barbara is an Accredited Breeder with the Kennel Club.
